Kiambu County has officially unveiled a digital innovation hub in Thika Town aimed at empowering young people with access to technology, training, and co-working spaces.
The hub will offer programs in software development, graphic design, digital marketing, and business incubation. Speaking during the launch, Governor Kimani Wamatangi emphasized that the initiative is part of a wider county strategy to support youth employment and innovation.
Local tech startups, universities, and private partners have expressed interest in collaborating with the facility. The hub will operate under a subsidized membership model to ensure inclusivity.
